All is well here at home and I had a call from Kent that Sjogin’s fine. What a relief.
We had about three feet of storm surge with a few large branches down. All the trees are OK with no sign of root movement. The power went down intermittently but came back on for good around 2AM, We were very lucky.

Nice to hear all’s well, that was some nasty weather. Looks as if the weather system which will fall out of Irene is making it’s way over to us in Scotland next weekend.
