Sjogin III

Apparently there’s enough interest out there that Paul Gartside has designed a 16 foot version of Sjogin.  Here’s a link to the recent article in WaterCraft Magazine.  Truly amazing.  From a neglected boat on the back row at Beaton’s to a seemingly global small boat star.

  1. Hi! Just dropped by… searched for sailing blogs and your Nordic name sounded interesting. U know, – it isn’t all just vo65s and those weird plastic critters from the AC craze. Up here, where your Sjögin was originally born, they still design and produce boats like that… Check out the Megin (www.megin.dk) for a freshly designed oldtimer. It’s plastic, and it isnt klinkerbuilt, but the shape is there… It goes all the way back to the viking ships. Cheers…
