It was great fun, dunking and all. Next year I should have a bit of practice under my belt. I'm going to fit Speedwell with a sliding gooseneck to raise the boom a bit. I live in Maine (Portland) and have been lurking on your site for a least a year. I love it. I met your brother about a decade ago in Brooklin. My car broke down which was unfortunate; the good news was it died about 25 yards from the Brooklin Boat Yard. Tendress had just been launched and your brother was there overseeing some final work. He invited me on board and could not have been nicer. I will never forget how beautiful Tendress was that day (reminded me a lot of a scaled up version of a Wianno Senior gaff-rigged sloop I had owned). The folks at BBY were very nice as well - they let me hang out in the yard until they were finished work for the day and they drove me to Ellsworth to get a rental car. These pictures of Tendress reminded me of that day and how a a day that got off to a bad start turned into a day to remember. Great pictures.
